Bagels, Bits & the Subway

This weekend, I venture off again to one of my favorite cities: New York.

As much as I love Chicago and living here, there is nothing quite like the energy of New York City. The food, the people, the bars all have a vitality to them that cannot be matched anywhere else on earth. And don’t even get me started on the comedy.

There are few places where you can go and do five great shows in one night. I’ve packed my schedule full this weekend with shows, podcasts, collaborations with other entertainers, and I love it.

There is truly nothing better than grabbing a bagel in the morning, running to meetings all day, then heading straight into shows all night. The schedule gets so packed that sometimes your only option is to grab a slice and run to the subway just to make it to the next one on time.

That kind of chaos is part of what makes New York so great.
